OSTROJ supports runners in Stěbořice once again

The Father Jožka Memorial has a firmly established place in our calendar of traditional regional activities. As a partner, we once again supported this popular running race in Stěbořice this year—an event that combines sporting enthusiasm with respect for the legacy of priest Josef Motyka.
Running with a deeper meaning
The Father Jožka Memorial was created to honor the memory of the tragically deceased Stěbořice parish priest, Josef Motyka, a man with a big heart and a great sporting spirit. "Father Jožka" was well-known for his energy, his closeness to the people, and his ability to inspire the entire community for a good cause.
The race offers routes for all generations—ranging from the main 10 km run and a shorter 4 km "community run" to tracks designed for the youngest competitors.
As an Opava-based company, many of our employees live in Stěbořice and the surrounding villages. Supporting this race is our way of contributing to the development of the local community and promoting a healthy lifestyle. At OSTROJ, we believe that values such as perseverance, fair play, and mutual support are key both in sports and in the industrial sector.
We would like to thank the organizers for their excellent preparation and all the runners for their performances. We are already looking forward to the next edition, where we will meet at the starting line in Stěbořice once again!
