We support

OSTROJ has a long-standing commitment to supporting leisure and educational activities, not only for its employees but also for non-profit organizations, associations, and schools within the Opava district and the Moravian-Silesian region. Twice a year, we select charitable projects to support with financial donations. When evaluating applications, we consider several criteria. The project must primarily be implemented in the Moravian-Silesian region and should focus on activities that we traditionally support.

Request for support

A donation can be requested by a legal entity registered in the Czech Republic with its headquarters in the Moravian-Silesian region. However, it must be a non-profit organization, such as an association, civic society, foundation, contributory organization, or similar entity. OSTROJ’s financial support does not cover individuals, business activities, or operating expenses.

FAQ

Can I apply for sponsorship as an individual?

If we decide to support your project, we will sign a contract that must be issued to a legal entity –meaning an organization or a sole proprietor with a valid business ID (IČO). However, you can apply for sponsorship on their behalf.

Can I request funding for club operations?

OSTROJ does not support business activities or general operational expenses. Our sponsorship is always directed toward specific charitable projects with a clear purpose.

When must the project be completed

A project receiving financial support must be completed within six months of signing the contract, unless otherwise stated. If the project is not completed within this timeframe, a new application must be submitted.
