One of the main specialist areas of the Engineering and Assembly Shop is the welding and assembly of parts for mining machines. Mining supports are subjected to extreme stress; the loading capacity of these structures can reach up to 1,150 t at assembly resistance of up to 140 kN/m2 (1,400 t). These machines are produced using standard S355, S690 or S960 steel and abrasion-resistant HARDOX 450 steel for belt conveyors.
The MIG 135 method is used to weld parts for mining machines, with a team of skilled welders working to the ČSN EN 287-1 standard. The welded joints of mining supports and the overall quality of the product are verified in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 5817-B and 5817-C standards.
Besides the production and welding of mining supports, we also offer the following weldment types and designs:
- parts for construction machines
- parts for hydraulic cranes
- part for demolition equipment
- loading platforms for airplanes
- other technological elements made of steel and of complex designs
