TIG 141 welding is one of the standard metal welding methods used by OSTROJ a.s. The method uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode in inert gas. TIG 141 welding is primarily used to weld aluminium and magnesium and their alloys as well as high alloy steel, nickel, copper, bronze, titanium, zircon and other non-ferrous metals; the TIG 141 welding number according to ISO 4063 is 141.
Welded joints welded by the TIG 141 method are of excellent quality, and so they can be used in structures which are exposed to dynamic stresses. TIG 141 welding is also applied to reweld joints welded by other welding methods in order to achieve smooth transitions of weld layers.
Besides TIG welding, our services include:
Top quality of weldments is guaranteed by the use of sophisticated checking procedures. We apply visual, magnetic, ultrasound and dimensional methods to check the quality of weldments according to ČSN EN ISO 5817-B and 5817-C standards.
