The quality is no more discussed in these days
The times when the quality was one of the special requirements of customer is gone. Customers take the quality for granted and they leave the care of quality with their business partners.
Also in our company the quality is one of the main subjects of our interest and we do not intend to reduce the strict demands on the quality system. The quality system was certified in the year 1998 according to ISO 9001and we develop it.
The quality system certification focused on car industry according to VDA 6.1 in the forging shop and hardening shop was a significant milestone in the sphere of care of quality. Since the year 2001 when we reached this certification this system has been extended in order to satisfy the demanding requirements of customers.
The company is also certified in the sphere of welding according to ISO 3834-2 and it is holder of the Great welding licence according to DIN 18800-7 and DIN 15018.
In the year 2006 there was carried out the first self- evaluation of the company according to EFQM model of excellence. All company activities passed through this self- evaluation The effectiveness of attitudes applied to the management and results of the company and individual processes were reviewed. The company further development and improvement are based on the revealed opportunities.
In the year 2008 OSTROJ a.s. successfully completed the preparation in the sphere of environmental management and gained the internationally recognized certificate ISO 14001. This certificate deals with the effects of the company on all environmental aspects so its award proves that OSTROJ a.s. adheres to the environmentally friendly behaviour. In connection with it there was approved the new Policy of OSTROJ a.s. of quality and environment.
