Mining Machines Division
OSTROJ is the biggest producer of equipment for mining in Czech Republic. Mining machines are manufacturing programme with the oldest tradition and OSTROJ has the biggest developing and manufacturing experiences in this line of business.
Our production program includes wide assortment of mining equipment for all condition of work in underground mines, i.e. mostly powered roof supports, armoured face conveyors and beam stage loaders, belt conveyors, plow systems, individual hydraulic props, legs, cylinders and other hydraulic components. In the production program of Mining Machines Division there are machines for underground mining in seams with the height of 0.5m to 6.0m and inclined up to 110°.
Our biggest customer is traditionally OKD the joint stock company in Czech Republic, but our machines and products also operate in the Russian Federation, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia and Australia.
Big emphasis is put on improvement and development of our machines. There is a team of experienced designers working in the division, who are capable of meeting the most exacting requirements of our customers.
